The Revenge part 1
I made a nice story, I will continue it but so far this is what I have:
The Revenge
By Sophia Abbas
Grace
It was 30 years after kindergarten, I had finally gotten revenge on my arch-enemy.
His name was Apollo. Oh Apollo Pappas, should’ve second-thought.
Why do I hate this mysterious man named Apollo?
Well, in kindergarten, he was nice to me at first. One time, he even stood up for me! Another time, he said to me: “Grace, will you marry me?”. I said no, I didn’t know the concept of marriage at the time. My mother had always said to say no to anything if I didn’t know what it meant, so I followed her instructions.
The day after that I went to Apollo’s desk to talk to him. To be honest, back then everybody thought I was weird. Nobody wanted to be friends with me. Apollo was my only friend, so I had no other choice.
I walked to his desk, preparing to see his beautiful eyes. Instead of being greeted by his soft smile, I had been greeted by a frown, followed by a harsh “What do you want? I was too stunned to speak. Only a little “Uh-” came out before he shoved me out of his way and said, “Just leave me alone.”.
When the bell rang, I hid in a corner outside. Avoiding every person in sight. Before I knew it, big fat tears rolled down my cheeks. I cried for the whole recess. Still sniffling in class every now and then.
In high school, I had finally found a friend. Apollo had been in that school at the time, but I didn’t care. All I cared about was keeping my friend. Her name was Charlotte. Charlotte and I were best friends. We were both kind of outcasts, so we clicked. We would laugh together, walk together, and talk together! I had always avoided school before her, but now it’s the opposite! I wanted to go to school so much! Until the worst thing ever happened. I wish I had the courage to do what I wanted to, but I didn’t. I had been an anxious pathetic scaredy cat.
